The Executive Director is the central leader of Women Action Point Initiative is responsible for translating vision into action. This role ensures that day-to-day operations run smoothly, staff and volunteers are guided effectively, and programs deliver measurable impact. The Executive Director also acts as the bridge between the board and the community, turning strategic decisions into practical initiatives that empower beneficiaries and strengthen organizational resilience.
Beyond internal leadership, the Executive Director represents the Women Action Point Initiative-Uganda to externally build trust with donors, partners, and government stakeholders, while championing the mission in public forums. By combining operational oversight with advocacy and relationship building, the Executive Director safeguards accountability, drives growth, and ensures that Women Action Point Initiative – Uganda remains true to its mission of service and transformation. The Executive officer works with the projects Coordinator who works with field officers.
Field Officers Field Officers serve as the direct link between the Foundation and the grassroots communities. Their primary role is to implement programs at the village and sub-county level, ensuring that activities reach women and girls effectively. They mobilize community members, facilitate trainings, and monitor ongoing projects such as savings groups, health awareness campaigns, and climate-smart agriculture initiatives. Field Officers collect data, provide feedback to the management team, and report on challenges and successes from the field. They also play a vital role in building trust, resolving local conflicts, and ensuring that the Foundation’s interventions are responsive to community needs. By working closely with beneficiaries, Field Officers guarantee that the organization’s mission translates into tangible impact at the household and community level.
